I broke down and purchased a single speed bike. I needed something I could ride to work on and leave outside locked up with out fear of it being stolen. My road bike and mountain bike have quick-release everything, so you could take apart almost the whole bike with out a single tool. I went with a Redline monocog. It is a no-frills single speed tank. This has a durable full Chromoly frame. Indianapolis is flat as flat can be. I don't need more than one speed. This will mean less headaches, less maintenance, and worry free riding. I rode it to work today!
